CLiCK Learning Centre was officially opened by Princess Anne on Thursday 5th April 2001.
CLiCK is an exciting and dynamic state of the art learning centre located in the centre of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. CLiCK aims to offer local people the opportunity to further their skills, interest and knowledge in the following areas:
- The Arts and Creative Industries
Business and Enterprise
Education and Learning
ICT Technology
Personal Development
The centre adopts an all in one approach which aims to address the individual needs of local people.
CLiCK aims to promote a vision of learning for the twenty-first century which is based on individual success and personal challenge for the whole community, emphasising that learning is for everyone.
Click History
Click’s music, video and radio facilities were funded by Clackmannanshire Council and The Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund. The facilities were officially opened on 31st January 2003.
The first project which benefited from the new video equipment was Clackmannanshire’s version of ‘Big Brother’ called ‘Big Bro’ in November 2002.
