I literally created an account, created a project, and was able to review musicians and then send quote requests them. All of this took about 10 minutes. I ended up getting a few quotes back and then I hired one of the musicians. As far as ownership, just as in a traditional studio musician for hire setting, with StudioTraxx the project owner (me, in this case) owns the finished song. The musicians are hired on a work-for-hire basis so they get paid for their time and are done. I’ve used StudioTraxx.com several times now and it is a great resource.
